For me I believe that my decision is to go to college and become something with my life and but money is tight with my family and I may just go to trade school and do something there. I would want to leave in an apartment with my future wife or with friends until I can find a stable job for a while. I would interview someone who didn't go to college and then interview a person who went to college, from there I would weigh out the pros and cons to help me decide or just believe in my gut.
Your plan is good ,but what is your alternative plan if you decided not to go to college? How would you support yourself financially?
ReplyDeleteI know thinking about college and money is hard! Just remember if you really try hard, scholarships will become available to apply for, as well as going to a community college for two years and then transferring to save a little bit of money. If you really thing college is not the place for you, there are plenty of things to do with your life where you can make a substantial impact in the world! Google often highers people based on their intelligence and skills rather than whether or not they have a college degree, if you like technology and engineering you could create something major and life changing there. If you are thinking of a more humble approach, try volunteering anywhere in the world! Volunteer for the red cross, or MSF (Doctors Without Borders), or any volunteer organization where you can do something and change lives. I strongly urge you to not let money get in the way of making a mark on this earth.
ReplyDeleteThere are always scholarship out there and there are so many of them for many things. You can defiantly find scholarships that apply to you. Apply to many of them, you have nothing to lose in trying.
