Life after high school

       When I go to college the majors I would like to study are pre-med or criminal justice. Three jobs that have pre-med as a major are Pediatrician,Physician,and Cardiologist. Three jobs that have criminal justice as a major are police officers,detectives, and a lawyer is some cases. 

Pre-med major:

-For a pediatrician an average pay is $171,467 per year. The salary differs according to different geographic locations, doctors in the Great Lakes area earned the most with $182,000 while Pediatricians in the Northeast earned the least $165,000. Also those in the Northwest earned just slightly more, with a income of $166,000. The education needed to become a pediatrician is a high school diploma,graduate from a four year university with pre-med as a major,take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), finish medical school,complete a residency at a hospital, and finally get board certified. Some personalities of a pediatrician are Caring,Empathetic,Patience,Good communication skills,Decisive, and Energetic.

-For a Physicians an average salary is $183,890 per year. The salary differs according to different geographic locations,physicians in the North Central region earn the most ($259,000) and physicians in the Northeast Region earn the least $228,000. The education needed to become a physician is Undergraduate education,Medical School,Residency program,and Fellowship. Some personalities of a Physicians are emotionally stable, is a person of unquestionable integrity,intelligent,has genuine concern for patients during their illness, is motivated by service,is able and willing to learn from others,is observant, and is adaptable.

Criminal Justice major:

-Police officers average salary is $51,998 per year. The salary according to different geographic locations depends on certain places for example if you work in a large city your salary would be more than a police officer in a small area. The education needed to become a police officer would be a high school diploma, graduate from a 4 year university and major in criminal justice,attend police academy,
Pass Applicable Examinations, and get a job. sSome personalities of  police officer would be,Decisiveness,Compassionate,Empathetic,Level-headed,Strong Communicator, and Emotional stability.
