Week 3: Life After High School

After high school, I would like to go to college. I have a strong mind set of the career I want to fulfill. The three majors I want to take up in college is law, psychology, and criminal justice. The three jobs can be taken up with these majors are my number one choice, a prosecutor, a psychologist either a forensic one or genetics, and a lawyer.

Prosecutor:
  • Average Pay: $73,632.00 - $106,766.40
  • Yes it does geographical location does affect the salary
  • You obtain a four year degree and attend three years of law school. Then, you have to pass the bar exam in the state you want to work in.
  • A prosecutor should be persistent, creditable, confident, civil and should have a want for justice.
Psychologist:

  • Salary: $67,650-$109,340
  • It does change with different geographical locations
  • 4 years of college
  • I don't know much about this but, I feel like a psychologist should be ethical, a good listener, patient and approachable.
Lawyer:
  • Salary: $166,055 - $249,082
  • It does change with different geographical locations.
  • You obtain a four year degree and attend three years of law school.
  • A lawyer must be confident, civil persistent, creditable, independent, and persistent.
