work readiness
two examples of using work readiness is working with others and is dedicated. working with the kids at first was really scary and the teacher would tell me what they would do by helping the teacher. it was a weird experience for me. but after thee second day i got really used to it and i started getting close to the kids. working with them is really nice, i learn from them also. being dedicated is another example, i would be there early and help the teacher bringing in the kids. sometimes i even stay later than my usual time. and working with special kids is hard and challenging but i still do my best to complete the goal thoroughly and completely. i stay later than usual if I'm late and make up the hours. the more i spend time with them my passion grows for the kids.communicating effectively held me back for example,i was working and she gave me a task to do. i was really confused as to where to put them and i was shy and embarrassed to ask a simple question. on the contrary i also learned to open up and talk to the kids and not just be the quiet intern, exploring new options and playing with the kids. an other example was when i had a dentist appointment but i forgot to tell Laura and i called later in the day, feeling ashamed. but, it made me realize that next time i really need to be on top of that. i almost forgot to inform her. i called again in the morning to tell her and i felt better. can serve the needs of others is another example. when i first started i was really shy and didn't know what to to do. i was just wondering around the room and didn't ask any questions, i felt like i didn't fit there somehow. but, i got to learn to just open up and go with it. it was really worth it because working with them has been a really good experience. the kids are a handful but, helping them is good it made me grow in sense. there is this girl named Charlotte and she has the tendency to sit down a lot even though i tell her to get up and its frustrating. but, i just talk to her and find things in her interest and in general help her in anything. its still a challenge but I'm getting there.

I know it can be scary at first to deal with adults especially in a new environment. It'll take some time but it seems like you're getting there! It's important to work through the fear of asking questions however it seems like you're getting more comfortable just don't be afraid to speak up.
ReplyDeleteIt may be difficult with kids that needed more attention but that's what it takes attention and dedication toward them letting them know that you are here to help them in any way like my internship I want them to feel comfortable toward me and be yourself
