Work Readiness Skills

The two work readiness skills I used in a positive way is communicate effectively and tolerant and respectful I used communication by letting the residents know that I am an intern and I help out with activities and help serve lunch. I respect them and treat them with comfort. I used the skill of being respectful by comforting them making them feel important and show them that they are doing a good job during activities.

My improvement needs to be in the work readiness skill of improve to demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and I need to open to feedback if I'm not doing a good job then I would like someone to inform me on my work to improve and I want to seek the opportunities to learn new skills to use them in the future. It caused me to work more productive and ask questions if I don't know what to do or what I'm doing wrong.

  2. This was interesting, I myself actually still have to work on communicating efficiently because as you may have realized by now some of the residents have trouble hearing. My common work readiness skill with you is being respectful and tolerant to everyone at Aegis Assisted Living

  3. Omar,
I think that communicating effectively with your coworkers and residents is a very important part of the job. I don't know exactly what you do, but if it involves being sociable and working with others then you should be able to be good at that!
